NeighborImpact has been promoting "Grow a Row", which encourages gardeners and farmers to plant an extra row to help their neighbors in need through local food pantries. It's a bit too late to plant, but if you find yourselves with an abundance of fresh vegetables from your garden, why not take them to a local food pantry! There are 40 agencies throughout Central Oregon and you can help them get healthy fresh food to the over 13,000 people who are visiting them every month! For a complete list of pantries, click here.
