On Tuesday September 8, 2009 at 8 p.m., Dancing Cat Productions presents Pianist George Winston at the Tower Theater. Non-Perishable Food donations will be accepted in the lobby, as well as monetary donations. CD's will also be available for sale and the proceeds will go directly to NeighborImpact's Food Bank. Volunteers will receive a complimentary pass to watch the concert.
George Winston is best known for his melodic rural folk piano style, and has always acknowledged that his main piano influences are the great New Orleans R&B pianists.
Follow up: The concert was a great success, bringing in over $800 for the Food Program!
